Last year, Brad Pitt claimed he would give up acting in the next three years in order to become a director and spend more time with his kids.
Now his fiancée, Angelina Jolie, has made the same promise.
The Tomb Raider actress has now said that she too wants to end her acting career further down the track so that she can spend more time with their brood Maddox (11) Pax (8), Zahara (7) Shiloh (6) and twins Knox and Vivienne (4).
“I think I’m going to have to give up the acting as the kids hit the teenage years, anyway, too much to manage at home,” she told Britain’s Channel 4 News.
“I have enjoyed being an actress. I am so grateful to the job and I have had great experiences and I have even be able to tell stories and be a part of stories that mattered and I have done things for fun.
“But if it went away tomorrow I would be very happy to be home with the children. I wake up in the morning as a mum and I turn on the news like everybody else and I see what’s happening and I want to be part of the world in a positive way,” she said.
The Jolie-Pitt children are said to be very excited about their parents’ upcoming wedding, and the children are said to be a big part of the big day.
