Renée Zellweger is keen to follow in the footsteps of her most famous character, Bridget Jones. The new book, Mad About the Boy, follows Bridget’s experiences of motherhood – and Renée (44) is also keen to be a mum with her boyfriend, guitarist Doyle Bramhall II.
“She’s considering adopting,” a source close to the actress.
“She’s been directing and working on her own projects, which has given her more time and flexibility to build her relationship with the right guy, hopefully, she’ll get the family she’s always dreamed of having.”
Renée and Doyle have been an item for more than a year, but have known each other since they were students at the University of Texas at Austin in the 1990s.
