Not all families remain amicable after a divorce, and a loving relationship between parents and step-parents is even rarer.
In this touching video, however, a blended family is brought together where Jamey, the father of Nakhjavani, thanks his ex-wife’s new husband Jason, while Tara, the mother, thanks her son’s new step-mother Natasha.
Each have written a letter to their fellow co-step-parent in their son’s life, thanking them for all that they do. The catch is, the step-parents don’t know that’s why they’re there.
“You’re a man of integrity, a man of skill, a beautiful husband… I admire you and I am grateful for you,” Jamey tells Jason.
“You are so kind… a tender-hearted woman who I could clearly see loves Nak from her core,” Tara says to Natasha.
