A photo shared on social media has captured just how romantic married life can be – especially when you have young children.
The parents, who took a photo to “capture the romance,” are shown seated on a sofa, with their three young children around them.
But evidently as they tried to take a sweet family portrait to commemorate their 10th anniversary, two of the kids had other ideas, and started hitting each other with pillows.
Posted on feel-good Facebook page Love What Matters, the post shows the reality of anniversaries once you’ve had kids, and the havoc that surrounds parents most days.
The image captures it perfectly
Viewers were amused by the post though, with one, Jeff Stahl, saying he would have those days back in a second.
“Very good I like it. But my kids are grown and I miss those days I’d trade you in a heartbeat.”
Patricia Rajnish agreed with him, writing: “I am with you, Jeff! Don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone so treasure every minute. The romantic, and the hectic, exhausting chaos.”
Others congratulated the couple on keeping it together, adding that this was a “true” family portrait if ever they saw one.
