A clever mum has created the most magical slumber party using a car-load of items from Kmart.
Australia mother-of-two Samantha McGilvery told Better Homes and Gardens that she had looked at hiring the items for her daughter’s party but was put off by the $500 quote.
Instead she turned to her local Kmart, buying play tents, airbeds, twinkle lights and garlands to create a dreamy slumber party set-up.
Ms McGilvery said she spent around $450 in total and then sold it as a six-tent kit for $300 a couple of days after her daughter’s party.
“In the end [it was] the cheapest party I’ve ever run,” she said.
