Tinder date stabbing

Two teenagers from West Auckland have been charged with stabbing a man they reportedly met on Tinder.

According to NZME reports, the victim was a 28-year-old male, who was stabbed while he sat in the car with a 15-year-old female.

Police sources told NZME that the man had allegedly picked the girl up from an address in Massey, before being led down a driveway where he was ambushed.

As he tried to drive away, his 15-year-old date stabbed him in the chest.

The victim, who’s injuries include a collapsed lung, attempted to flee but didn’t make it past the corner of Massey’s Triangle Rd and Huruhuru Rd.

Two teens have now been charged over the incident, and are due to appear in court next week.

The 15-year-old girl received charges of causing grievous bodily harm with intent to rob, while a 14-year-old boy was charged with being party to causing grievous bodily harm with intent to rob.

They were also charged over a separate incident at Massey petrol station on Friday.
