This woman checked into a random hotel wearing a teal and cream top with a thick stripe but when it dawned on her that she mimicked the hallway decor she stopped for a quick snap.
The image was loaded onto Imgur, and then Reddit with the comment “so my friend checked into a random hotel, and then this happened.”
In just two days it has received almost 4 million views and thousands of comments with people comparing it to Wes Anderson’s The Grand Budapest Hotel and Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining.
