We all have those days where we feel a bit rubbish about ourselves. But this British comedian has written the perfect pick me up song that encourages us to love our “jiggly bits”.

Comedy singer-songwriter Kay Buckley has written the song to encourage women to stop being so hard on themselves – and it’s hilarious.

The 24-year-old from Manchester shared the song, called Oh For Goodness Sake, I Like My Cake, on her Facebook page.

She describes the song as being about “having jiggly bits, and not really giving a s–t what anyone thinks”.

Featuring lines like, “My body jiggles like jelly when I run downstairs to get my takeaway” and “I’m not one to buy into a ‘so called’ quick fix, I’d rather spend my money on pick ‘n’ mix”, Buckley happily pokes fun at society’s preoccupation with looks.

Buckley, 24, was diagnosed as a coeliac last year and has struggled with the way she perceived herself.

“I hope we can all learn to love our jiggly bits. We all have them and the pressure to be a certain way can really affect who we are as a person,” she told Metro UK.

Social media users have certainly taken her message to heart.

“I saw this just scrolling along. My day just got a lot better through laughter,” wrote Kyte Urisuke.

“Thanks Kay made my day!,” another Facebook user, Diana Carroll, wrote to the singer.
