After hearing there had been another earthquake in Christchurch recently, my elderly friend said, “Oh, dear. I suppose there will now be more liposuction there.” Then, later, she heard that there was soon going to be a defibrillator available at her rest home. “I don’t know why,” she said. “We don’t tell lies in here.”
