Real Life

Riches to rags

My son-in-law was on his way to a business meeting when he inadvertently got showered with dirt. He then needed a new shirt, so went into the first shop he saw. He bought a beautiful shirt and put it on. Imagine his horror when a hurrying child bumped into him carrying orange juice.

My son went into the men’s room and washed and dried it. The price was much higher than he’d ever paid, but the shirt didn’t wear so well. It was later passed on to me for a dusting cloth. But somehow I don’t think I could ever bring myself to use it!***
