A photographer has showcased the toll childbirth takes on the human body in a series of beautiful portraits of real mums.
Dispelling the myth that women snap back into shape within weeks of giving birth, the images show all the stretch marks, lumps and bumps that come with pregnancy and often linger long after.
Mother-of-one Jade Beall has put all the pictures in a book called A Beautiful Body Project, which is set to be published in January. Check out all the amazing photos here.
