When my daughter was six years old, she came home from school one day bursting with news and a very important question – “Mum, what’s sex?” This caught me off guard and I didn’t have much time to think, so brushed the question off with the answer, “That’s something old people do, it’s nothing for you to worry about.” My daughter replied, “Okay, I’ll phone and ask Nanny!”
