Stephen Fry reveals he has prostate cancer

He's been battling the disease for two months.

British comedian and actor Stephen Fry has revealed he is battling prostate cancer.

Fry, 60, took to his Twitter page to reveal the news to his followers.

“For the last 2 months I’ve been in the throes of a rather unwelcome and unexpected adventure,” the tweet read.

“I’m sorry I haven’t felt able to talk about it till now, but here I am explaining what has been going on.”

Fry posted a video explaining exactly how he found out about the cancer and the process he went through.

He was offered the option of radiotherapy, “a long and difficult process”, as he said in the video, or having his prostate completely removed. He chose to have surgery and has been in recovery since.
