This is the true meaning of ‘eat your heart out’

An artist from Brooklyn has found a unique way to express heartache.

Artist and writer Isabella Giancarlo has an ingenious way of commemorating lost love. By appealing to the public for their break up stories, she has taken them and created dozens of cakes, biscuits and other confectionery – that explore “loss, memory and appetite.”

The project, cleverly titled ‘eat your heart out,’ centres on “emotional vulnerability to inspire connection between strangers around the universality of heartbreak.”
