Dear Wendyl,
Over the holidays I met an amazing guy while I was away on a friend’s boat. We were all mored together in a bay and he emerged from this huge boat and I just couldn’t take my eyes off him. We hit it off straightaway and became an item then and there, and for the rest of the holiday.
The problem is that because he was with a lot of really rich guys I assumed he was quite well off too. But when we got back to reality it turns out he’s just a plumber. I need someone who’s a bit more cashed up so I’m thinking of moving on, but my friends say I should stick it out. I really like him. What should I do?

Dear Loved Up,
Oh you poor shallow thing. Why is it that you need lots of money? What will money give you that the love of a good man can’t? Of course you should stick it out and enjoy the relationship without letting money get in the way. You never know, your hot plumber could end up teaching you a thing or two about priorities.
