I’ll be honest with you, for a very long time whenever I heard someone order a turmeric latte, I would roll my eyes.

“Hipster nonsense,” I would think. “Just have a normal flat white and don’t assume you’re better than me.”

2. The root of the solution

If you can get access to it, in specialty food shops or supermarkets, then buy fresh turmeric. It looks almost identical to ginger root, only with a brighter orange colour, and can be grated in to any dish as well or in place of ginger.
