Taking a bath in Epsom salts has more benefits than you think!
The benefits of bathing in Epsom salts.

Back in the 17th century, a farmer near Epsom, in the UK county of Surrey, discovered a spring near his house that was rich in magnesium sulphate. Thanks to his discovery we have Epsom salts, one of the best secret weapons you can use for full-body wellness.

With a high amount of magnesium and sulphate, Epsom salts draw toxins out of the body and put goodness back into it – and they cost under $3 a bag! Put two cups into your bath, two-to-three times a week, and soak for 20 minutes. Here are just some of the health benefits you’ll be receiving:

  • It’s a great debloater. Trainer to the stars James Duigan recommends it to his clients, including supermodel Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, before they have photoshoots because of its stomach-flattening effects.

  • It’s great for hangovers and jet lag. An Epsom salt bath will rehydrate you and draw toxins out of your body – it will also relax muscles and soak away aches and pains.

  • It’s an anti-inflammatory for both your muscles and your skin. After an Epsom salt bath you’ll feel more relaxed, and it’s also good for soothing skin conditions like eczema and psoriasis.
