What is ‘Wedding Season’ about?
In this rom-com-meets-action-murder-mystery a young couple, Katie and Stefan, fall head over heels after meeting at a wedding.
There’s just one problem, Katie is already engaged to marry another man, Hugo, who along with the rest of his family is mysteriously murdered on their wedding day.
Per the synopsis, Wedding Season “tells the story of Katie and Stefan who fall for each other at a wedding and begin an affair, despite Katie already having a fiancé.
“Two months later at Katie’s wedding, her new husband and his entire family are murdered. The police think Stefan did it. Stefan thinks Katie did it. And no one knows for sure what the truth is…”
Who stars in ‘Wedding Season’?
The lead lovers are played by Gavin Drea, who you may recognise from Vikings: Valhalla and Rosa Salazar who you may also know as Brenda in the Maze Runner series.
Also starring in the series if George Webster as Hugo, Callie Cooke as Leila and Ioanna Kimbook as Suji.
Where to watch ‘Wedding Season’ in New Zealand
Wedding Season will be available to stream exclusive on Disney+, and with all eight episodes dropping at once it is the perfect binge show.
