His fiancée Jamie Johns tells us he’s a sweet, caring romantic but there was nothing nice about Hayden Campbell’s behaviour on The Block NZ: Villa Wars last night.
Having inherited a completed guest room in the ‘Great House Switch of 2015’, the burly rugby jock had the luxury of time. So rather than knuckling down and getting stuck into his DIY he made a point of cleaning up – and Hayden took no prisoners.
Teaming up with his Scottish builder Martin, the sports nut and his cheeky tradie turfed fellow contestants’ Sarah and Minanne’s expensive carpet – which they were hoping to re-use – outside in the rain. Ouch!
Out running some last minute errands, the stylish sisters of the blue team were blissfully unaware their flooring was flooded until they returned to Block HQ.
Petite and polite, the girls barely raised their voice when they confronted Hayden about his overzealous housework. Judging by his smug reaction, it appears Hayden believes he may have won this battle, but something tells us his bolshie ways might come back to bite him in the butt.
