Now beginning its third Aussie season, Married at First Sight has cemented its status as the modern version of blind dating!
For the uninitiated, the hit reality show sees relationship experts match two strangers together based on their psychological profiles.
The catch?
The first time the pair meet is at the altar, shortly before being pronounced husband and wife!
This all-new series mixes up the format as it brings audiences a new twist – for the first time, the show will feature a same-sex match.
“The idea of expanding it out and getting different sorts of couples is exciting,” reveals New Zealand’s very own relationship psychologist John Aiken.
But will the couples all make it down the aisle, let alone through their suprise marriages?
You’ll have to tune in to find out.
Married at First Sight, season 3 premieres on Thursday, September 29, 8.30pm on TV3.
