He’s flatting with two other guys and a pig so creating a newlywed nest was always going to be a challenge.

In episode two of Married of First Sight NZ we met builder Andrew, a 26-year-old, from Auckland, who was paired off with flight attendant Vicky, 27, also from Auckland.

Ahead of their wedding, Andrew was filmed at home with his groomsmen and Mr Pigglesworth… And we couldn’t help noticing that the flat is need of some TLC.

There are unfinished walls in Andrew’s bedroom, cables hanging from the ceiling in the kitchen and Mr Piggleworth is running amok with his muddy trotters.

Maybe they are doing some renos on the house – Andrew is after all a builder – but what about the bottles everywhere? From the lounge and kitchen to the bathroom, there are beer bottles on almost every surface.

The pair have already already had a shaky start to their relationship.

How will Vicky react when she visits his house?

Andrew, maybe it’s time for a flat meeting and a clean-up, mate.

We love you, Mr Piggleworth!

And perhaps leave Mr Pigglesworth – cute as he is – outside with his bowl of mangoes.
