Lamar’s son, also named Lamar, posted the picture of himself and his father on Thursday, December 31 on Instagram.
“Christmas with my pops,” he captioned the photo, which shows the teen and his sister Destiny (from Lamar’s previous relationship with ex Liza Morales) posing behind their father, whose face is only half-visible.
“Here’s to 2016. Blessed,” he continued.

The social media snap is Lamar’s first photo appearance since his hospitalisation in October 2015, after the pro athlete was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel. The 36-year-old lay in a coma for three days after being found, while estranged wife Khloe Kardashian, friends and family members kept vigil by his bedside.
As Lamar fought for his life in the hospital, Khloe, 31, was forced to step in and make the decisions about his medical care. In the days that followed, the couple – who had previously signed divorce papers in July 2015 – eventually hit ‘pause’ on the legal proceedings surrounding their split.
“I just feel like it’s a really insensitive thing to fast-forward a divorce,” Khloe later revealed during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, adding that she has “always loved him”.

The news led many fans to speculate whether the couple, who got hitched in September 2009, would be getting back together.
However, in a later Twitter rant, the reality star – who spent New Year’s Eve with current squeeze James Harden – revealed the divorce was still “going forward”.
“Doesn’t mean I won’t be there through sickness and health,” she wrote.
“I’ve proven that.”
Lamar, who has since regained consciousness, still faces a long journey towards recovery and remains in a Los Angeles hospital.
