The two have been separated for over a year now, but they remain on good terms with each other.
The closeness of their family and the memories they’ve shared together have helped the two stay friendly, Kris told E! News.
“We have a lot of stuff going on with our family and the holidays are coming and it’s tradition,” she said.
“We have two kids together and we want to set a really good example for our family.”
Kris also recalled seeing someone else go through a divorce with “grace” and “love”, and she wanted to emulate that herself when it came to her own split from Bruce.
“I think it’s the best thing you can give your kids. If you’re not going to be able to stay together, then at least make it really comfortable for the whole family so that they know there’s a lot of love there. That’s what I believe.”
The former couple officially filed for divorce on September 22, on the basis of irreconcilable differences.
