Caitlyn Jenner gifts her plastic surgeon with signed Vanity Fair cover

Check out what Caitlyn Jenner did to thank the surgeon who helped her transition

As part of her brave transition from Bruce to Caitlyn Jenner, the reality star underwent several surgical procedures.

Yesterday, she took the time to personally thank Dr. Harrison H. Lee, one of her plastic surgeons, with a signed copy of her iconic Vanity Fair cover story.

In a sweet picture captured by one of Dr. Harrison’s employees, Caitlyn can be seen sitting next to the surgeon holding up the autographed issue. The message scrawled across the front reads ‘To Harrison, Great job Thank you so much Caitlyn Jenner’.

“So impressed by my boss Dr Harrison Lee’s phenomenal work and being part of Caitlyn’s transformation,” the employee captioned her photo of the smiling pair.

While most have been supportive of Caitlyn’s decision to publicly debut her new look, the star hasn’t been immune to criticism.

After it was announced the former Olympian would be receiving the Arthur Ashe Courage Award from sports network ESPN, veteran US sportscaster Bob Costas said she wasn’t deserving of the honour.

“Awarding the Arthur Ashe award to Caitlyn Jenner is just a crass exploitation play,” he said in an appearance on the Dan Patrick talk show on Monday.

“I’m pretty sure they could have found someone who was much closer to actively involved in sports who would have been deserving of what that award represents,” he continued.
