After seven episodes, the outspoken comedienne has announced her exit from the E! show

Hot on the heels of fellow host Kelly Osbourne’s departure, Kathy has now announced she too will be leaving Fashion Police.

The hilarious star came onto the show as a replacement for the late Joan Rivers in January of this year and has been with co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski and Kelly Osbourne for seven episodes so far.

According to a statement Kathy posted on Twitter a few hours ago, the 54-year-old is leaving Fashion Police due to creative differences.

“When I chose to step into the shoes of my beloved friend Joan Rivers at Fashion Police, I was thrilled to continue her legacy as a woman being brash and eccentric on television,” she wrote on her Twitter page.

“But I do not want to use my comedy to contribute to a culture of unattainable perfectionism and intolerance towards difference,” she continued.

“After 7 episodes of Fashion Police, I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on.”
