The world is awash with excited responses to the happy news of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s engagement. But it was this tongue-in-cheek tweet from Meghan’s onscreen fiancé Patrick J Adams that stole the show.
In Suits Adams plays Mike Ross, who is engaged to Meghan’s Suits character Rachel Zane.
“She said she was just going out to get some milk,” he tweeted – before following with a heartfelt message:
Meanwhile actor Wendell Pierce, who plays Meghan’s onscreen dad, gave the couple his “TV father’s blessing”.
