Kate and her husband Prince William left four-month-old Prince George at home to attend the film at the Odeon Leicester Square, London.
Kate (31) wore her hair in an elegant loose ponytail and wore a glamorous white gown by French designer Roland Mouret.
The biopic about Nelson Mandela stars The Wire actor Idris Elba, who said he worked hard to fairly portray the late South African political hero who passed away at his Johannesburg home age 95.
