Prince George marked a major milestone this week with his very first day at school, dropped off by doting dad Prince William.
“It went well,” the Duke of Cambridge revealed later, as he attended a reception at Kensington Palace for the England Under-20 football team. “There was one other parent who had more of an issue with their children so I was quite pleased I wasn’t the one. It was really nice actually. It’s a nice school.”
But what if George’s classroom was A-list only? From rapper 50 Cent’s son to the Princess of Sweden’s royal offspring, these are the celebrity children who would share a school year with Prince George.
How time flies! It seems like just yesterday the world eagerly awaited the arrival of Prince George, but this year, the royal attended his very first day at school at Thomas’s Battersea.
Prince William dropped his son off to school. Doesn’t George look cute in his uniform?
The royals were welcomed by Helen Haslem, head of the lower school, upon their arrival.
The palace released this official portrait to mark the momentous occasion. Photographer Chris Jackson revealed, “The first day of school is an exciting time for any child, and it was great to see Prince George with a big smile on his face next to Dad, The Duke of Cambridge, ahead of their first school run together.”
North West
The daughter of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, North is only a month older than George – so he will have someone to give him style tips on the playground if Duchess Catherine were to let him near a pair of Yeezy’s.
North West and Penelope Disick pretend to be Kendall and Kylie
Penelope Disick
North’s cousin and BFF is a year and a bit older than George, born in July 2012, but as daughter of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick, we have a feeling they would be pretty good friends if she were to hang out in London.
Princess Estelle of Sweden, Duchess of Östergötland
Fellow royal Estelle (who will turn five on February 23) is the only daughter of Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel, Duke of Västergötland. Like George, she is the eldest child and has already captured plenty of hearts with her cheeky grin.
India Rose Hemsworth
As one of Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky’s three children, four-year-old India is surely Australian (acting) royalty.
Sire Jackson
Rapper 50 Cent’s son Sire is already a selfie king at age 4.
Harper Beckham
The only daughter of David and Victoria Beckham, five-year-old Harper would definitely be the little fashionista in this class of celebrity kids!
Blue Ivy
Little Blue Ivy (5) would definitely be the coolest kid in school!
Moroccan and Monroe Cannon
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon’s twins are double trouble!
Olive Barrymore
Drew Barrymore’s four-year-old daughter Olive loves helping out mum in the kitchen – perhaps she could show Prince George a few cooking tips or two?
Haven Warren
Jessica Alba’s five-year-old daughter Haven Warren (right) loves goofing off with her older sister Honor.
Vivien Brady
Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady’s four-year-old daughter Vivien would be the perfect playmate for Prince George! Here, the supermodel shares a sweet snap of Vivien playing with her older brother Benjamin.
Maxwell Drew Johnson
Jessica Simpson’s daughter Maxwell (who turns five this year) shares a hug with her younger brother Ace.
Elijah and Zachary Furnish
David Furnish and Elton John’s oldest son Zachary celebrated his fifth birthday on Christmas Day.
Noah Green
Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green’s eldest son, four-year-old Noah, would be an adorable playmate for Prince George.
Tennessee Toth
Reese Witherspoon’s four-year-old son Tennessee looks like he shares Prince George’s cheeky sense of humour!
