And August makes three: Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s idyllic family life in pictures

He's growing up fast

After seven years of dating, royal fans were delighted in 2018 when Princess Eugenie and her longtime love Jack Brooksbank were engaged.

The two were married just months after Eugenie’s cousin Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex and in February 2021 two became three when they welcomed their son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.

Taking to her personal Instagram account, the youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson shared a black and white photo of their newborn’s tiny hand to announce their baby’s birth but it wasn’t until over a week later that they shared the first official picture and the name they’d settled on.

“We wanted to introduce you to August Philip Hawke Brooksbank.. 💙💙💙⁣,” she captioned the first family photo, taken by their “wonderful midwife”.

“Thank you for so many wonderful messages. Our hearts are full of love for this little human, words can’t express. We are excited to be able to share these photos with you.”⁣

But this trio will soon become four! Princess Eugenie took to Instagram in January 2023 to reveal they were expecting baby number two.

Though Eugenie tends to keep her son out of the public eye – and we can imagine she will keep this approach with baby number two – she regularly shares updates with her social media followers.

What’s more, August made his public debut at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations where he looked particularly patriotic in his Union Jack jumper.

With his red hair and sweet face, fans can definitely see those royal genes too!
