Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge’s witty nod to Prince Louis’ Jubilee antics as they unveil unseen photos

Last weekend, the Queen marked a milestone 70 years on the throne with a marvellous slew of celebrations.

From the Trooping the Colour, to Her Majesty’s surprise Buckingham Palace balcony appearance following the Pageant, the Platinum Jubilee provided royal fans with many glamorous photos and adorable moments of their favourite family.

Now, Prince William and Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge have delighted fans even further by sharing a slew of unseen moments from the celebrations to their official social media accounts.

The photos ranged from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s highlights from a street party where Catherine donned an eye-catching Alessandra Rich pleated blue polka-dot dress through to candid snaps of the Cambridge kids.

One photo showed the Duchess of Cambridge with her three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis at the Trooping the Colour celebrations during a private moment at Buckingham Palace.

In another black and white snap, four-year-old Prince Louis in his adorable sailor outfit walks beside his father, who is dressed in his military regalia.

Another poignant photo showed a beaming Prince George standing alongside his great-grandmother The Queen for her surprise balcony appearance on the final day of the Jubilee celebrations.

Accompanying the behind-the-scenes glimpses was an official statement from the duke and duchess.

“What a fantastic weekend of celebrations,” the caption read. “Seeing people across the nation coming together with family, friends and loved ones has been extremely special.”

“Thank you to everyone who turned out to show their gratitude to The Queen and her inspiring 70 years of leadership. From the crowds on the Mall to communities hosting street parties up and down the country, we hope you had a weekend to remember.”

The statement ended with a special acknowledgement directed towards Prince Louis, whose excitable antics throughout the festivities delighted royal fans everywhere.

“We all had an incredible time, especially Louis… 👀 W & C,” the post concluded.

The comments section was soon flooded with messages of support – particularly for the youngest royal.
