The news comes as the Duchess of Cambridge prepares to make her public comeback for the first time since her second pregnancy was announced.

The Palace have announced that Prince George’s little brother or sister will arrive in April 2015 via a statement released by Clarence House which read:

“Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2015.

The Duchess of Cambridge continues to be affected by Hyperemesis Gravidarum, but her condition is steadily improving.”

This comes as exciting news for royal watchers as poor Kate has been laying low with the debilitating condition ever since the pregnancy was first announced six weeks ago.

Catherine has been forced to cancel over 16  scheduled official engagements since her pregnancy was first announced due to the illness. Hyperemesis Gravidarum is quite an extreme form of morning sickness which results in prolonged and severe nausea, vomiting, dehydration, weight loss and low blood pressure.

The announcement that Catherine is improving must come as welcome news to the whole family, and we look forward to her making her triumphant public return!
