Kate has been a passionate patron of SportsAid, which provides financial support and recognition for the next generation of British Olympians and Paralympians, since 2013. In a speech delivered at the palace dinner, the self-confessed sports fan praised SportsAid’s work in encouraging the spirit of athleticism in the country.
