Beth Kelly and husband Teejay Halkias’ MAFS relationship is completely rocked by their homestay – and Teejay must face the consequences of his actions at this week’s dinner party.
While Beth was initially excited to bring a partner home for the first time, her happiness quickly turned to pain when she realised that the Gold Coast operations manager, 28, wasn’t who she thought he was.
Beth reveals, “He got asked some questions by my family and he referred to our relationship as a ‘beautiful friendship’. I was shocked. I thought, ‘I’m not here for a best mate.’ Hearing his responses made me sad. I was completely blindsided.”
The pair head into the dinner party on shaky ground and Teejay is confronted bythe group, who rally around heartbroken Beth. She recalls, “The girls were just super-disappointed for me because they knew I really liked Teejay. They just wanted some answers, but Teejay is good at dancing around the answer and his feelings. There were red flags and it was hurtful.”
