“I’m furious,” she said. “I feel like the whole script has been flipped.”

Que the dramatic music!

“I feel like I’m gonna lose my mind in there…. Am I the only one seeing whats going on here?” Jamie said. “I can’t die on this hill… someone’s gotta back me.”

After facing many questions from the group, Tim later made an abrupt exit from the dinner party!

Dave & Ryan

Dave Hand and Ryan Donnelly go head to head after Ryan makes a controversial remark about his own wife, Jacqui Burfoot, that Dave doesn’t tolerate.

“It’s a shocking comment,” says builder Dave, 36. “It goes against everything I stand for. I was very disappointed in Ryan – there’s not even a place in time for that sort of stuff.”

While Dave did not feel comfortable repeating what the comment was, it was implied it had something to do with Ryan and Jacqui’s sexual relationship, as the comment is made at sex expert Alessandra Rampolla’s Intimacy Week workshop.

“He disrespected Jacqui behind her back,” explains Dave. “We weren’t even aware of their sex life. It was brought up in this way and it was like, ‘Whoa, bro. We don’t even know that’s where you’re at in your relationship.’

“It was a lot and I felt bad he didn’t handle it like a gentleman.”

Dave takes the comment to his wife, account manager Jamie Marinos, 28, and the pair later decide to confront Ryan at the dinner party, where it comes to an explosive head.

“He was bamboozled,” tells Dave. “He says he was saying it as a joke and also that he didn’t mean it like that. I’m trying to get the point across that it’s not OK to say these things. Being in a group setting, I tried to push that message across to everyone that I wasn’t going to stand for it.

“With Ryan, I just wanted him to know you don’t need to be a warrior [which Ryan refers to himself as]. Just be a decent human – that’s something that he needs to learn.”

Rhi & Jacqui

This 2025 MAFS Australia season is whipping out feuds faster than we can react! Jacqui messaged Jeff hoping to meet up and get a man’s perspective on her arguments with her husband, Ryan. But there was one condition that confused viewers and participants alike: Rhi couldn’t be there.

“If you like Ryan so much, why would you message Jeff behind my back?” Rhi confronted Jacqui while in attendance at an Intruder wedding.

As the group debated the wrongs of Jacqui’s message, a lingering “death stare” thrown by Jacqui to Rhi certainly set the latter off.

“Jacqui, what was that look?” Jeff asked, before Rhi said: “Don’t look at me like that.”

Ultimately, Jacqui walked away from the table.

“As soon as things get hard, she cries,” Rhi claimed.

Billy & Adrian

After Sierah’s confession during the commitment ceremony, that she emotionally confided in Adrian, tension has been rising between Billy and Adrian. But feuds reared their ugly head during the following dinner party where Sierah, Adrian and Tony went to dinner together.

While they claimed the dinner was as friends, Billy and Adrian’s partner Awhina weren’t so convinced.

“I don’t care if Tony was there or if he wasn’t, it doesn’t take it away from what it actually is. You went out for dinner, you can’t defend that bro,” Billy said. “You took her out.”

Billy’s trust in his wife has completely broken, admitting to the producers that he knows “deep down, she does like Adrian.” Meanwhile, Adrian didn’t see an issue with being Sierah’s confidant.

“What do you think I’m gonna do? Steal your wife or something? Boy’s can’t have a girl friend?” he asked the producers. “If we’re bonding, and she feels like I’m the only one that she can talk to and get things off her chest, then I’ll be that guy. I’m happy to be that person.”

However, Adrian didn’t stop there as he revealed Billy asked to do a “wife swap” after discovering Sierah confided in Adrian. In MAFS history, the topic of a wife swap has never gone down well…

Jamie, Beth, Awhina & Lauren

The couples retreat on MAFS is never truly a relaxing experience, with drama always lurking around every corner. This year, the drama sparked between Lauren and three other 2025 brides, Awhina, Beth and Jamie.

In a shock turn of events, Lauren and Clint decided they no longer wanted to remain in the experiment. When the brides attempted to reason with Lauren, she abruptly exited girls night.

“The bogans just keep boganing with their boganick ways. They just can’t help it,” she told production. “Their just such losers.”

Lauren wasn’t the only one upset as Beth said: “she thinks she’s the Queen of England.”

Drama continued to spread into the second night at the couples retreat as Lauren called Jamie a “troll.” Dave quickly came to his wife’s defence, however, Jamie was upset the only participants that supported her during the heated argument was Jacqui, Adrian and her husband.

“I’ve had everyone’s back,” she said. “It is so embarrassing… I’m so sick of being the bad guy because I speak up, I say things. When it serves you well, when I’m yelling for you then it’s okay, but where is my defence?”
