Woman’s Day On The Go: Matilda the Musical Opening Night

The Royal Shakespeare Company’s critically-acclaimed production of Matilda The Musical premiered at the Civic Theatre in Auckland last night, following a hit season across the pond in Adelaide, Australia.

The winner of over 85 major international awards (including 16 for Best Musical), the captivating production is based on the beloved book by author Roald Dahl and is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus, with a book by Tony Award-winning playwright Dennis Kelly and lyrics by Tim Minchin.
