Taylor’s known for being one of the more generous celebs out there, but her latest philanthropic act definitely takes the cake!
The ‘Style’ singer has made good on an earlier promise to donate to NYC public schools by fronting up $50,000 of the proceeds from her song ‘Welcome to New York’.
While she has yet to talk about the funds publicly, the donation was confirmed by an official at the New York City Department of Education – so hats off to Taylor!
Of course, that’s not the only charitable work Taylor’s done. Last year, she topped DoSomething.org’s annual list of Celebs Gone Good, and she’s also supported UNICEF, Red Cross, Musicares and many more over the years.
