Oscar-winning actress Sandra Bullock has become a mum for the second time!

The Our Brand Is Crisis star is already a proud mother to five-year-old son Louis, who she adopted in 2010, and now Sandra reveals she has also adopted a three-year-old girl named Laila (pronounced ‘Lila’).

“When I look at Laila, there’s no doubt in my mind that she was supposed to be here,” Sandra told People.

“I can tell you absolutely, the exact right children came to me at the exact right time.”

Little Laila was adopted from Louisiana, where she was placed in the foster care system. In an exclusive interview with People, Sandra said her son actually “spearheaded” the whole process.

While it wasn’t easy for Laila to adapt to her new home and family at first, Sandra says her daughter has settled in after plenty of reassurance.

“I knew she was scared, and all I wanted was for her to know Louis and I weren’t going anywhere,” she said.

Now that the adjustment period is over, Sandra says Laila’s personality has come out in full force! The two siblings couldn’t be more different, with Louis being the “quiet watcher” of the family and Laila already taking on the role of the “performer”. Sandra says her little girl has fallen head over heels for singer Bruno Mars and even knows all the words to his videos!

“The only way to get her to go to sleep is to show her photos of Bruno and tell her he called and wants to know if she’s going to bed,” Sandra revealed.

While Bruno may be the object of little Laila’s affection, Sandra’s own beau, photographer Bryan Randall, has been beside the star as she brought her daughter home. He even manned the camera for Sandra’s gorgeous family photo shoot for People!

Reflecting on her second adoption journey, it’s clear the star couldn’t be happier with her expanded family.

“My family is blended and diverse, nutty, and loving and understanding. That’s a family,” she gushed.
