Despite being an awards-season pro by now thanks to her star turn in the intriguing thriller Gone Girl, it seems Rosamund still isn’t used to the pre-show glam fest!
Describing walking the red carpet to USA Today, she said “it’s like that time in Africa when you see a whole crowd of zebras crossing crocodile-infested waters”.
“Most of them make it. A few of them are ripped to bloody pulp,” she finished. Ouch!
The star (and new mum) is set to walk the red carpet again today for the 87th Academy Awards, where she is nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role. While she might not enjoy preening for the cameras, we have to say we can’t wait to find out what she’ll be wearing!
Rosamund, 36, definitely isn’t afraid of bold designs and unusual silhouettes – from her voluminous Christian Dior gown at the SAGs to her sleek Roland Mouret at the BAFTAs, she always keeps us guessing!
