Sporting star Richie McCaw, 35, and his gorgeous fiancee Gemma Flynn, 25, recently stepped out for a romantic lunch date at a trendy Auckland eatery.
Wearing denim cutoffs and a long-sleeved white shirt, Black Sticks star Gemma looked cool and casual in the midday summer heat. Meanwhile, hunky beau Richie flexed his muscles in a sporty T-shirt and navy blue shorts.
The long-time couple hit headlines in early January when the pair announced the happy news of their engagement on Facebook.
“Happy new year to everyone. I’ve had a fantastic start to 2016 and feel very lucky,” Richie wrote on Facebook.
“Gemma said ‘yes’! It’s been great celebrating our engagement with friends and family in sunny central Otago. Here’s to a great year ahead.”
Kiwi fans can look forward to even more of Richie once the rugby icon’s documentary hits cinema screens later this year.
According to the official release, the film will be an “intimate” look at Richie’s “final 365 days as an All Black, revealing the determination and mental toughness of an international sporting legend who still sees himself as an ‘ordinary guy’ from small town New Zealand.”
