You know you’ve made it into the A-list when Hollywood institution Madame Tussauds makes a wax figure out of you!

New Zealand’s own Lorde can now add this honour to her extensive list of musical awards, as Madame Tussauds has unveiled their first wax recreation of the ‘Yellow Flicker Beat’ singer.

Earlier today, Lorde tweeted the first look at her new wax figure along with some behind the scenes shots showing how the eerily accurate waxwork was created.

“It was an incredibly detailed process sitting for the waxwork, and the team at MT were so passionate and skilled!” the Kiwi singer wrote on Twitter.

The wax doppelganger perfectly mirrors Lorde’s fierce stage persona, from the elegant black ensemble to the dark purple-hued lips.
