Melanie Lynskey has announced her ‘surprise’ engagement to fellow actor Jason Ritter.
The 39-year-old Kiwi actress – who stared in Two And A Half Men – revelaed the news on Hollywood Today Live.
“Now he’s my fiance,” she shared. “I’m announcing it.”
Heavenly Creatures star Lynskey, who grew up in New Plymouth, said the proposal came as she and her 36-year-old Parenthood beau were hanging out at home.
“It was cute,” she revealed.
The couple have appeared in three movies together, and have been dating for four years.
Lynskey was previously married to Westworld actor Jimmi Simpson, but filed for divorce in 2012.
Ritter is the son of famed Hollywood actor John Ritter, who starred in Three’s Company, 8 Simple Rules and It, before his death in 2003.
