Fifty Shades of Grey had a blockbuster opening and has made over $400 million worldwide since its release, according to USA Today – but is Mr Grey himself getting cold feet?

Not true, according to an official rep for actor Jamie Dornan.

“Jamie is delighted that the film is breaking box office records worldwide and whilst the studio has not made any formal announcements about sequels, he is looking froward to making the next film,” his rep confirmed to ABC News.

The actor had been candid about his wife Amelia Warner’s discomfort with his raunchy role, which sees him engaging in risque bedroom play with costar Dakota Johnson.

After those comments, rumours ran wild the star would not be appearing in any more sequels – but fans can rest assured the role won’t be undergoing yet another recast!

However, it’s now up to the studio to set the ball rolling as the next film instalment of the erotic series has yet to be given the green light.
