Multiple Grammy nominee Taylor Swift started off the night strongly by picking up two gongs before even making her way onto the red carpet! The blonde beauty won Best Pop Vocal Album for 1989 and Best Music Video for her ‘Bad Blood’ epic.
She’s also up for several major categories in this year’s ceremony, including Record of the year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year.
While Taylor’s always a powerhouse at the Grammys, rapper Kendrick Lamar actually takes the cake for most nominations with an impressive 11 nods across a variety of categories. The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) has also had a big year, with seven nominations and wins already for Best R&B Performance and Best Urban Contemporary Album.

Justin Bieber brought the cutest date of all to the Grammy Awards – his younger brother Jaxon! The adorable little tyke rocked a black and white tux just like his big brother, and the two even looked to have matching hairstyles for the night.

Meanwhile, Adele – looking gorgeous in a sparkling black gown on the big night – wowed the crowds with the first live performance of her song ‘I’ll Miss You’ at a pre-Grammys party.

First-time winner Ed Sheeran was absolutely chuffed to take home the Grammy for Best Pop Solo Performance for ‘Thinking Out Loud’. In his acceptance speech, the talented Brit joked that his family were finally able to see him win after years of watching him go home empty-handed.
A flame-haired Lady Gaga turned heads on the red carpet before taking to the stage to perform a tribute to the late David Bowie.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift – whose on again, off again feud with Kanye West hit headlines late last week – took a dig at the rapper during her acceptance speech for Album of the Year.
