A week after they tied the knot in front of friends and family in Wanaka, Gemma Flynn and Richie McCaw have shared the first snap from their honeymoon.
And unlike many couples who choose luxurious island retreats of glamorous jaunts to Europe, Gemma and Richie decided on a 20 kilometre hill run.
“Not your average honeymoon,” wrote Gemma on her Instagram page.
“Kicking off with a 20km run but I wouldn’t change a thing.”

The newlyweds appear to be on the Big Hill Track in Arrowtown, Otago, not far from where they tied the knot two weekends ago.
And while Gemma shared the loved up post late on Monday, Richie was reminding followers on his Facebook page about his commercial endorsements – linking them through to Sleep & Co – who he and Gemma are brand ambassadors for.
His post garnered so much interest in the website that it crashed.
