After spending some time apart on a rumoured break in April, on-again, off-again lovebirds Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have reportedly split for good.
According to E!, the busy couple actually broke up a couple of months back, but have managed to keep things amicable.
“There is definitely still love for each other there. They remain close and are on good terms,” a source told the news outlet.
The couple had been dating for four years after meeting in 2011 on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man, where they played on-screen love interests Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy.
Emma and Andrew were said to be on a break earlier this year due to their busy schedules, with Andrew away in Taiwan filming Silence with director Martin Scorsese. However, the co-stars have always kept their relationship private and have rarely talked about each other in public.
In June, Emma touched on her beau briefly during an interview with the Wall Street Journal.
“I never talk about this stuff for this exact reason – because it’s all so speculative and baseless,” she told the publication.
“I understand the interest in it completely, because I’ve had it, too. But it’s so special to me that it never feels good to talk about, so I just continually don’t talk about it.”
