‘Heart Attack’ singer Demi Lovato has been open about her struggles with depression and an eating disorder – and now, she’s crediting her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama for supporting her through those trying times.
In an interview with HuffPost Live, Demi gushed about Wilmer and the relationship the two shared.
“He never takes credit for my sobriety, but I guarantee I wouldn’t be alive without him today,” she revealed.
“As I get more serious in my life, I’m more proud. I also wanted to give him a lot of credit that he never takes,” she continued.
The loved-up couple haven’t been shy about showing off their devotion on social media, with Demi posting frequent snaps of her boyfriend on Instagram.
Aside from being an advocate for mental health and positive body image, the star has also branched out into business. Demi recently launched her own skincare line called Devonne by Demi, and this week she announced she had teamed up with Nick Jonas and her manager Phil McIntyre to launch Safehouse Records.
“It’s incredibly exciting to be part of this new company where I’m in control of all aspects of my career,” she said of the new label.
