After appearing on season one of The Bachelor NZ, blonde bombshells Dani Robinson and Chrystal Chenery have become something of a target for online commenters – but now, the Bachelorettes are fighting back.
In a new video filmed with stylist Sam Levi, the pair sit down to go through some of the “mean comments” they’ve received on various social media platforms.
Dani – who was runner-up on The Bachelor NZ last year – got the ball rolling by addressing the comments about her recent breast enhancement.
“Connie decided to say that I only got a boob job to heighten my chances of getting a boyfriend,” Dani read out, before confirming that she had no trouble in the romance department.
For her part, Chrystal read out some of the comments directed at her after she posted a photo of herself mistakenly wearing an Australian flag bikini while declaring her support for a new NZ flag.
Another comment comparing her to one of the Kardashians gained a more positive reaction from Chrystal, while Dani revealed she was frustrated at how the public perceived her.
“I don’t think people realise I actually have a career … I worked full time while I was at uni, I still got really good grades,” she said.
“I did classes at high school above my year group. Like, I’m an intelligent person. I own my own house, I’m doing well.”
