The couple were first seen together in February last year, shortly after Brit’s engagement to Jason Trawick hit the skids.
Until now, it had seemed to be smooth sailing for the former lovebirds, with Britney gushing about her beau to Entertainment Tonight in November 2013.
“I adore him,” she said at the time.
“I love the fact that anything he’s involved in he’s passionate about and it’s contagious.”
Their breakup is rumoured to have come after a video surfaced of David cheating on the star, although this has yet to be confirmed.
However, Britney doesn’t seem to be too bothered by the news, as she cheekily posted this onto her Twitter:
