Only eight months after giving birth to her daughter James with husband Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively managed to get back into incredible shape for filming The Shallows.
In the movie, Blake was required to wear a bikini to play the role of a surfer.
“It was eight months after having a baby so my body was completely different than what it normally was. Everything had just shifted and changed.” She admitted.

During a radio interview yesterday she revealed her diet secrets.
“I did no gluten and no soy. It seems like, ‘oh that’s really easy to cut that out,’ but you realize there’s soy in everything. Even if it’s the healthy, whole foods, organic stuff, there’s always soy in it. Once you remove soy, you realize you’re eating no processed foods, so that’s basically what I did.”
According to Blake, she managed her new balanced diet while still enjoying some of her favourite foods like sushi.
“I was still able to have sugar and all of those things. It’s all in moderation. You have a balance of protein, carbs and vegetables. And it wasn’t the worst. I was eating rice and sushi, but just no soy and no gluten.”
Blake is currently pregnant with her second child.
