The talented teen stopped by Good Morning America today along with her fellow DWTS contestants, where she opened up about her well-deserved win and what the achievement meant to her and her family.

“It truly has changed my life,” she told the hosts.

“I feel like I’ve grown as a person. Not only have I learned all about the world of sequins and sparkles and high heels, but also to be blessed enough to work with this beautiful family – I feel like my family has just been extended, even more than animals!”

The win caps off a stellar season for the teen TV star and presenter, whose memories of her late father often influenced her routines.

In week four of the competition, Bindi paid tribute to her dad for the theme of her ‘most memorable year’, breaking down as she talked about their relationship.

“It took a really long time to understand what actually happened,” she said, wiping away tears.

“For the rest of my life, I’ll kind of feel like he’s going to come home.”
